Farewell Leanne

We are sad to say goodbye to a much loved and integral part of Glen Education, Leanne Clements. Leanne has made the difficult decision to resign from her position as WHS Leader and Child Safe Champion, so she can free up some much-needed time, to be with her grandchildren. Leanne has 5 beautiful grandchildren and they all need her to support them in their early year’s journey!

Leanne began her journey at Glen Education as an educator, then as a WHS Coordinator and more recently a part of the leadership team.

Leanne's dedicated approach and steadfast commitment will leave a hole in the leadership team that will not be easy to replace.

We take this opportunity to say thank you for your belief, enthusiasm, and dedication to WHS over the years.  You have embedded many safety measures, and the organisation is better for it.

Please join us in thanking Leanne for all that she has brought to Glen Education and wish her well as she continues her role as Best Nana in the world!

Thanks, Leanne, for everything 😊

A special note from a long-time colleague Josephine Dingiria:

After 23 years as an educator, it’s hard to imagine our community without Leanne. Throughout her career, no one has shown greater commitment to their role or to the wellbeing of children. Leanne’s dedication has always been evident—in the care she gives, the standards she upholds, and the calm, thoughtful way she approaches everything she does.

It was this deep sense of responsibility and steadiness that made it such a natural decision when Mel MacMaster asked Leanne to take on the role of our WHS Leader. In true Leanne style, she led with clarity, consistency, and a calm that reassured everyone around her. No matter the challenge, Leanne brought balance, perspective, and a quiet confidence that made us all feel supported.

Beyond her professionalism, we will miss Leanne the person—her laughter, her wicked sense of humour, and her ability to bring calm to even the busiest days. She has left a lasting mark on our team, our children, and our community.

Leanne, thank you for everything you have given over the last 23 years. You will be missed more than words can say, and we wish you every happiness in what comes next.
