Basketball Competition

This Term we’ve seen an exciting student basketball competition come to life, with 11 teams taking part in a round-robin format. The energy has been outstanding — not just from the players on court, but also from the large crowd of supporters who have turned out at every game. The buzz around the courts has created an incredible atmosphere, with cheers, chants, and plenty of school spirit on display.

The competition has already delivered some close finishes and entertaining match-ups, showcasing teamwork, resilience, and skill development. Every week brings something new, and it’s been fantastic to see so many students getting involved — whether through playing, umpiring, coaching, or supporting from the side lines.

The season will wrap up with a Grand Final showdown in Week 9, where the top two teams will face off for ultimate bragging rights. We can’t wait to see how the ladder unfolds over the next few weeks and which teams rise to the occasion.

A big thank you to Cruze Marsh who is our official reporter, the VM students who are helping out each week and everyone who has come along to cheer, support, and help make this competition such a highlight of the Term.

Mason House Activities and Games

This Term also saw the ban of video gaming across the school. As a result, we have supplied board games and cards for students to be using during lunch times. The students can come into Mason House and sign out the activity of their choice. We have seen large groups of students playing Uno as well as many students battling it out in games of Chess and playing Connect 4. We are very excited to see this continue next term.
