Ping Pong-A-Thon

Year 9 Students Participate in Mini Ping Pong-A-Thon to Combat Modern-Day Slavery

During Semester 2, our Year 9 Christian Studies explored the theme of justice. Their learning concluded in a meaningful and energetic event on Wednesday 26 November, when they picked up their ping pong bats to raise funds and join the Aussie movement working to combat modern-day slavery.

Students enjoyed a morning of friendly competition while contributing to a global cause that aligns with the values of justice and compassion that they have been studying. All gold coin donations will be given to Samaritan’s Purse, an organisation committed to supporting the most vulnerable through its programs.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 students for their involvement. Their actions demonstrate that young people can be powerful advocates for change and reflect the heart of God in caring for others.
