Titration Competition

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of three of our Year 11 Chemistry students, Abby Y (11.14), Annie X (11.14), and Mia Y (11.14), who proudly represented Oxley Christian College at the State Titration Finals held on Wednesday 26 November at RMIT University.
This year, our students competed first in the regional round of the prestigious Australian National Titration Competition organised by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. Their precision, accuracy, teamwork, and commitment to excellence earned them a well-deserved place in the Victorian Finals, where only 13 schools across the state qualified.
At the finals, Abby, Annie, and Mia performed exceptionally, demonstrating excellent laboratory technique, strong analytical thinking, and the poise to work under rigorous time conditions. Their hard work paid off with a remarkable 6th-place finish at the state level, an achievement that reflects both their dedication and their ability to compete at the highest academic level.
We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented Oxley Christian College with maturity, determination, and humility. Their accomplishment is a wonderful testament to what can be achieved through perseverance, disciplined practice, and a genuine love of learning.
Please join us in congratulating Abby, Annie, and Mia on this fantastic result. We celebrate their success and look forward to seeing all they will continue to achieve in their senior Chemistry studies.
