Student Achievement Spotlight

Malek Marouff

Malek was our leading Year 8 tennis player this year, which is no surprise given his achievements on the court outside of school.

He dedicates around 12 hours a week to on court training and hitting. Recent achievements include being selected as one of only six boys to represent Metro/Bayside/Moorabbin and surrounds regional junior Pennant team, nominated to captain the team and winning the 24/25 season state championship.

Winning the 2025 autumn season bayside club pennant (representing Wattle Tennis Club, section 4), winning Mornington boys 14 & under championship and coming runner up in the 18 & under division (winter July 2025). 

He is also the only junior to be invited to play in the inter club seniors' competition by Middle Brighton Tennis Club and we just received confirmation that he has once again been given the honour of representing Metro/Bayside in the regional pennant competition for the 25/26 season in the 14 & under.

We look forward to watching Malek's career over the next few years!
