Photographers in the Making!

Year 10 Media

Our Year 10 Media students have been hard at work over the past five weeks in their Photography unit, producing some truly impressive creative portfolios. The task, set as part of their CAT 2 assessment, involved creating an individual Photography Portfolio presented in an A4 visual diary.

Throughout this unit, students have dived deep into the world of photography by researching famous photographers, exploring various photography genres, and learning different techniques. This research formed the foundation for their own creative projects, which they carefully planned using mood boards and mock-ups.

The results have been outstanding – their portfolios showcase a blend of technical skill, artistic vision, and thoughtful planning. From striking street art and abstract urban photography to glowing sunsets, the variety and creativity in their work demonstrate both dedication and talent.

We encourage everyone to have a look at some of their submissions and celebrate the great effort and progress these young photographers have made!

Well done, Year 10 Media! We can't wait to see what you create next.
