Winter Gala Day

Our Year 5 and 6 Winter Sports teams recently participated in the Winter Sports Gala Day, proudly representing our school and demonstrating excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience, and active participation throughout the event.

Students competed against a number of local schools and embraced every opportunity to challenge themselves, develop their sporting skills, and work collaboratively with their teammates. The three sports students competed in were soccer, netball and football. It was wonderful to see students displaying positive attitudes, encouragement, respect, and determination both on and off the field.

The day provided valuable experiences for all participants, helping them build confidence, strengthen friendships, and further develop their skills in a supportive and competitive environment. We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented the school and congratulate them on their efforts, achievements, and outstanding school spirit.

Regional Cross Country

On Wednesday, Elyana and Emmerson proudly represented our school at the Regional Cross Country event held at Bundoora Park. The event brought together students from many schools across our district, creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere.

Both students completed the challenging 3-kilometre course, which included several steep hills that tested their endurance and determination. While the race was physically demanding, it was also an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Emmerson shared that feeling nervous before the event was completely normal, but crossing the finish line brought a great sense of accomplishment, despite feeling exhausted afterwards. Elyana and Emmerson were proud of their efforts and demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and a positive attitude throughout the day.

We congratulate both students on their fantastic achievement and thank them for representing our school with pride.
