Reading
In Reading, the Foundation students have been learning to make predictions and text to self connections. They have been predicting from stories such as “Biscuit’s Day at the Farm” to predict what the class might be doing at the Bundoora Farm excursion. Students engaged in texts such as Chalk Boy, Sad the Dog, and Family to make text to self connections. They verbally shared and drew how these stories reminded them of themselves and their families.
