Visual Art

Foundation

In Visual Arts, Foundation students continued creating artworks focusing on the skill of overlapping. They chose different colours and materials to colour in each artwork, first tracing around their hands with a greylead pencil. Next they used markers to colour in the overlapping areas of their hands and the outlines of fingers/spaces to demonstrate a colourful effect. Well done Foundation!

Year 3 and 4

In Visual Arts, Year 3 and 4 students embedded their understanding of Value and Tone by creating a colourful stone artwork with greylead pencils and oil pastels. Each student chose a coloured piece of paper to use as a base which they then shaded using complimentary colours with Tone and Value to convey their 3-Dimensional work.
