SCHOOL UNIFORM

We take pride in our students and promoting an inclusive learning environment. When worn correctly, the college uniform symbolises pride in being part of our school community. Our uniform and student behaviour continue to uphold our reputation of achievement amongst the wider community. We want to take this opportunity to thank parents and guardians for supporting us in ensuring compliance with Mickleham Secondary College’s Uniform Policy.
A copy of all school policies can be found at the following link: https://www.micklehamsc.vic.edu.au/policies-and-reports
Whilst at school, including the movement to and from school, it is expected that students correctly wear the full school uniform. Students can wear thermals, sweaters or undershirts to keep themselves warm; however, these items should not be visible beneath their regular uniforms.
Hooded Jumpers are not permitted. Hoods can obscure a student’s identity, making it challenging for staff to quickly and confidently recognise individuals on school grounds. Additionally, they present safety risks in practical subjects such as Science, Physical Education, and Technology.
- Leggings are not considered part of the formal school uniform and do not align with the standard of presentation we expect from our students. We ask that students wear the appropriate uniform items as outlined in our uniform policy.
