FOOD TECHNOLOGY

We have been very excited in year 9 Food Technology, as students finished working on their CAT1 Pizza Design task this week. Students have been working on designing a pizza that meets the brief they were given, completing written work and research to create multicultural pizzas. Their hard work was put to the test over the past 2 weeks, where students actually cooked their pizza recipe in their practical class. 

We had lots of really interesting Pizza designs, both sweet and savoury, with great reviews from our students.

Students demonstrated their ability to plan and manage their workload, communicate and collaborate with a partner and showed just how much they have learnt in their kitchen skills.

The staff barely got to taste the pizza’s as they disappeared so quickly! It was lovely to see students sharing their creations and giving and receiving feedback on their hard work.

Apologies to the families who never get to taste their student's food!
