WELLBEING

Year 7 & 8 Backflips against Bullying!
Our school was thrilled to host the Backflips for Bullying program—an inspiring anti-bullying assembly that combines high-energy acrobatics with powerful messages about kindness, respect, and standing up for others. Through jaw-dropping stunts and personal stories, students were reminded that everyone has the power to make a positive difference. A big thank-you to the year 7 & 8 students and their team of teachers and wellbeing staff for flipping the script on bullying in such a memorable way!
IDAHOBIT DAY
On the 16th May we celebrated IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. We ran a voluntary event for students who chose to participate during the breaks. Hume Youth Services alongside the Student Services Team ran activities including badge making, adding to our rainbow tree, and writing messages of support for the LGBTQIA+ community. You can find out more about the day and discover information about identity and inclusion through the website www.IDAHOBIT.org.au.
