HOUSE ATHLETICS CARNIVAL 2025

Mickleham SC held its annual House Athletics Carnival in Week 1of term, at a new venue of Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium to accommodate our growing school population. The day was well attended by students, and it was awesome to see staff and students alike embrace their house spirit by wearing their house colours, dressing up and participating in a range of events to earn house points.

Congratulations to all students who participated in an event, cheered for their peers and house, and helped out to support the events on the day. We’d also like to acknowledge the entire college staff, who were phenomenal in their support of the day as well- we truly have a great school community at MSC!

It was a tight tussle for most of the day, with last year’s champions, Scott, and perennial runners up, Bennelong, vying neck-and-neck for the House Championship. At final count, Scott managed to pull away and claim back-to-back House Championships- well done Numbats!

Final standings for the House Championship were:

1st- Scott 297 points

2nd- Bennelong 259 points

3rd- Goodes 227 points

4th- Freeman 224 points

We also awarded Age Group Champions for students who earned the most points individually in each age group. Congratulations to the below students!

12/13 years- Moey Al Rubayi & Logan Van Dyk

14 years- Rayan Yasir & Reet Dhillon

15/16 years- Gunveer Singh, Avinoor Bhullar, and Angel Kumar
