Classroom News - Year 2

Year 2 have had an amazing term!

You have all worked extremely hard this term. We hope you have a happy, Holy and safe Easter break and have a wonderful time with your families and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces in Term 2. 

Religion

We have been learning about Holy Week during our Religion lessons. We have learnt about Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. We have also made a Holy Week cube that shows a picture of each of the holy days. 

English 

We have been working hard reading, writing and spelling in our English block every morning.  

Maths 

This week, we have been focusing on increasing and decreasing number patterns. We have made our own number patterns and have been filling in missing numbers in different number patterns. 

Commendations 

A big congratulations to the students who have earned a commendation in the last fortnight! You should all be very proud of yourselves!
