LENT

Classes will complete their Lenten units this week.  We will gather as a school on Thursday where the classes will all take  part in presenting the Stations of the Cross.  On our return in Term 2 we will look at Easter.

PROJECT COMPASSION

If anyone has any Project Compassion boxes they haven't returned, and would like to, could they be handed in at the office by Thursday please.  These will be added with the funds we have raised from our pancakes and St Patrick's Day green clothes day.

CHRISM MASS

Year 6 had the opportunity to attend the Chrism Mass this week.  This Mass is held in Holy Week,  usually Holy Thursday, in the Cathedral, where the Bishop blesses three oils - the oil of the infirm, the oil of the catechumens and the holy chrism.   The Chrism Mass is also a key moment of unity  between the Bishop and priests.  The students were able to watch and listen as the priest renewed their commitment to serve God's people.

MINI VINNIES

The new relaxing of restrictions will enable us to begin our Mini Vinnies next term.  We will meet on a Monday first break.  Any students in Years 4,5 and 6 who are interested in being part of our group can join us at 11am Mondays at the Music room.
