The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is celebrating Melbourne Design Week by having a series of free, online events for teens aged between 13-18 years of age.

"Industry Connections" gives teens the chance to meet artists, industry leaders and creatives in this online series. Through informal discussion and illustrated presentations, find out about their creative careers and gain insights into the diverse roles and opportunities in the creative industries.

When: Tuesday 30th March 2021Time: 5pm - 6pm

Bookings are recommended for this free activity.

The first artist in this series is Australian photographer Tom Blachford. He will discuss his photography then run you through a photography activity with an iPhone. You can email questions before the presentation, or comment in real time online. There are more details about this event on

I'll be going to this event online - hope to "see" you there too! 📸
