Introduction to the new Onguard OHS training platform.

Term 2 will see the introduction to the new Onguard OHS training system across the Technology department. This platform will ensure the safety of all students and staff at the college. 

• All students will be provided with a login and password and will work through self-guided OHS training.
• Staff will provide classes with demonstrations on high-risk equipment to ensure that students are properly trained in safe use of high-risk machines.
• Students will then be enrolled in the online training and will be expected to complete the module before using the relevant machine.
• Students will receive a certificate of competency that will stay with them through out their journey through Wantirna College and into their working lives.

Students will receive certificates and as they gain their new skills and will travel up the leader board from novice to Grand master.
