Our record breaking event

Our very successful Biggest Morning Tea

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

On Friday 2nd June, Year 11 hosted the annual Biggest Morning Tea.

This event was to raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Council.

Year 11 had set their target very high at an ambitious $1500.

On the day, staff and senior students attended the morning tea,

bringing generous donations and hearty appetites.

Many came to see Stefania Miceli’s hand made croquembouche

and enjoy the great food and atmosphere.

Year 11 exceeded all expectations, raising $1625 on the day. Our Cancer Council fundraising page also raised an additional $625 online from generous parents, staff and community members. Thank you to everyone who contributed - including a special thanks to the Year 11 Hospitality class who catered for the event, giving up much of their time to cook, to prepare and serve;  to the helpers who set up and to Mrs Byron, Mrs Randall and Mr Faga who helped create this record breaking event.

$2250 is heading to the Cancer Council from the Cecil Hills High School community. Congratulations Year 11 on a job well done.
