Fieldwork for Year 12

Year 12 Geography students exploring Towra Point Wetlands

Year 12 Wetlands excursion

Earlier this term, Year 12 Geography students completed their final piece of fieldwork for the HSC course. Students made their way to Towra Point Wetlands to observe the human impacts on the inter-tidal zone. Students were submerged up to their shins in muddy water and got to experience the wetland in its full glory. We would like to congratulate Year 12 for their efforts on the day – stepping outside their comfort zone and getting cold and wet all in the name of Geography!

Mr Collins and I would like to extend our best wishes for Year 12 in their upcoming Trial HSC and for all the memorable fieldwork moments over the past two years.
