Hands On Learning

Projects

This semester the Hands on Learning program has expanded into a two day program.  Our teachers, Mr Brett Penny and Mr Konieczny, with help from AJ and Charlie from the Craigieburn Men’s Shed, have worked with us to build bench seats and a pizza oven.  

BENCH SEATS

We are now offering to take orders for these benches in return for a $100 Bunnings voucher. We will use the voucher to purchase supplies and tools for future Hands on Learning projects. 

FOOD SECURITY NETWORK PROJECT

The Hands on Learning have been collaborating with the VCAL program with the Food Security Network project. We built garden beds and planted a range of vegetables which will be used to help feed people who are hungry.

PIZZA OVEN

We are currently building a pizza oven and we are learning how to lay bricks and will be learning how to make and cook pizzas.
