We also had several inter-school sports teams represent Craigieburn Secondary College in soccer and netball this term. Student participation numbers increased compared to term one, which was great to see. All teams who participated won at least one game and we had our intermediate boys make the regional level in which they will represent the school next term.

On Tuesday 18th of June, some of our students attended the Melbourne Storm 'In League in Harmony' gala day. This gave ur students the chance to showcase the skills that they had learnt from the in-school program that Melbourne Storm ran. Several of our students won the Best Youth Advocate Award, Tyler Masters 8J, Ryan Scott 8J, Jonas Pitovao 9A and Patrick Pulemagafa.

Congratulations to all students who represented the College.

Year 7 Boys Soccer

16 year seven boys travelled out to Sunbury to represent the school at divisional Soccer. The side displayed some great teamwork skills across the day, while demonstrating upmost respect towards students from Mt Ridley Secondary College, Sacred Heart College Kyneton and Hume Anglican Grammar. Although only taking home one win for the day, the boys managed to secure the unofficial battle of Craigieburn Road against Mt Ridley. The main highlight of the day was the friendly match played against Hume Anglican Grammar. Both teams played the game in great spirits with the game ending in a dramatic penalty shootout. Well done to all boys involved on the day.
