Creating Change

We invite you to attend our upcoming webinar, Morning Peninsula Communities Creating Change through ‘Unpacking the Man Box’, to be held on 24 March at 6:30pm. In this you session you will:

Listen to Guest Speaker Josh Kennedy, Australian Rules Footballer, on his experiences as a dad, husband, son and footballer. Josh is an ambassador for The Men's Project.
Explore the concept of the man box and its impact on men and boys.
Explore what respect and equality looks like in relationships, homes and the wider community.
Unpack what healthier masculinities looks like and how to put it into practice.
Show how breaking free of stereotypes can improve health and wellbeing of both men and women.
Encourage you to be an agent of change to help break down harmful gender stereotypes.

You will also hear from Paul Zappa and Elise Awudu from The Men’s Project. Paul has extensive experience in supporting communities to promote compassion and respect. Paul is also co-founder of Club Respect. Elise has a community development background with a particular passion for children’s wellbeing.
