This week in the STEM room
The senior and junior classes have been getting creative by Designing, Engineering & Constructing different boats made out of recycled materials.
The Year 6 students were set the challenge to move a boat, which was holding weights that was driven by our Sphero robots. This was so impressive to watch and some groups created boats that could hold over 500GRAMS!!!
The Junior classes have now tested their boats and they were amazed to find how many animals could fit inside. It must have been their amazing building & designing skills.
Take a look at some of our designs as we tested them in front of the class. The students were so excited to watch the designs of others and give feedback.
