VCAL Structured Work Placement

Police Work Experience 

Talalelei Samuelu of 11G participated in

5 days work experience from 24th Oct to 28th October.

 

Talalelei was working in the operations office at Keilor Downs completing Police Reporting, meeting the public who may have had convictions, attending court cases at Sunshine Magistrates Court Sunshine and experiencing a day at the Dog Squad.  Her future career interest is to become a member of the Victoria Police. This short experience has allowed her to learn valuable communication skills and operations necessary when working day to day in a Police station.  

 

Congratulations in being our first student to undertake work experience at the local police station since COVID restrictions have eased to allow more students back into the workplace. This experience was on hold for over 2 years.
