Chocolaterie Excursion

On Thursday 13th October the Year 7 Leap Food class headed up to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery to participate in a Chocolate Masterclass. 

 

They were guided through 3 different chocolate creations and then were given an opportunity to practise tempering chocolate.

The students followed this with a tour where they were told about the history of chocolate and what it takes to become a Chocolaterie.

We concluded with lunch in their café and the purchase of great chocolate gifts for both family and friends.

 

An extremely fun day despite the bad weather conditions.
