Our Year 1 and 2 VET Students are achieving great things at Taylors Lakes Secondary College in their nominated field this year.

Darius Mihaljevic who is completing Year 1 Building and Construction VET course at AGA in Deer Park competed in the Vic Vet in School Regional Competition held at Bayside Secondary College in Newport on 9th September, 2022.

Darius completed the task set (to make a saw stool) and enjoyed the experience. 

Competition was fierce and we hope to have more students compete next year.

Recently our school held three night performances of “Chicago” in the college theatre. The production was thoroughly enjoyed by the cast, crew, staff and family members who attended.

One of our VET students studying VET Acting at Taylors Lakes had one of the lead roles and captivated the audience in the role of Roxie. Congratulations to Keeley, one of our Year 11 students.

Also working behind the scenes for the Production Company during the performances, was Elliot who is studying Music Sound/Production as his VET subject in 2022.

I am sure Elliot Cobb thoroughly enjoyed the hands on experience and will pursue further employment in this field at the end of his course.
