Ecology Year 7

As part of our Ecology Unit in Year 7 LEAP, students undertook water quality testing down at the Taylors Lakes Linear Reserve. We uploaded our data to the Melbourne Water River Detectives website to be used as part of statewide water quality monitoring. Students also investigated the purpose of the stormwater collection basin; identified different types of ecological relationships constructed food-webs for the local ecosystem and analysed human impacts on the natural environment.
