College Captains Welcome

As your 2023 College Captains, we would like to begin by formally welcoming our entire school community to Lilydale Heights College in 2023.  We are honoured and excited to be a part of this year's journey with you all. 

We would like to extend an especially warm welcome to all new members of our College community. In new surroundings, filled with many new faces and challenges, it can feel rather daunting. Our message to you is this; grasp every opportunity presented to you, and don’t be afraid to ask for help, the staff don’t bite (we hope)....

This year will be a journey which will provide a wide range of opportunities for each student to get involved, challenge themselves and grow as a person, student or friend. We encourage you to take each and every one of these opportunities. At times we can be all too quick to count down the days that we forget to make the days count. Try new things and step out of your comfort zone - if it doesn’t challenge you, it won't change you. Aspire high, set big goals and always strive to achieve your own personal best. 

2023 is set to be a year full of exciting opportunities and we look forward with great anticipation to what we will achieve together.
