College Production

From the Directors:

What an exciting time it has been for our cast in Term 1!

After the highly anticipated announcement of our show – Oliver Jr! – we ran two after school audition sessions, where we had roughly 40 students put their best foot forward to seek out a principle, featured or ensemble role. We had some incredible talent, making our decisions for roles even harder. We were so thrilled to announce our incredible cast and their roles, with a total of 29 students accepting a role in the show ranging from Year 7 to 11.

Since then, we have held three after school rehearsals and one Saturday rehearsal. The students have been incredible! We are amazed by the motivation and dedication that they bring each week. They have been flexible in their approach to the show, and are always willing to try out any of the wild ideas that we might have.

Being a cast member in the Oliver Jr! School Production has so far been an unforgettable experience. From the first audition, it has been an exciting journey filled with learning opportunities, teamwork and fun. Rehearsals have been long and tiring, but the energy and dedication of everyone involved has made it all worth it. Being a part of this production has not only allowed me to meet a new group of wonderful and dedicated people but has also taught me valuable lessons in time management, discipline and collaboration. I look forward to seeing the hard work of the entire cast and crew come to life on stage in front of a live audience.  I'm sure it will be a truly exhilarating experience that I will always cherish.
