Year 10 Outdoor Ed Group – Mountain Biking Day @ Lysterfield Bike Park

Our class ventured to Lysterfield for a day of fun and challenge on the trails. The students were excellent!!!  They certainly rose to the challenge - many of the students had not ridden bikes for quite a long time, let alone having to navigate their way around rocks, tree roots, up hills and along single tracks. One group of students rode 16.5 km and the other over 21 km.  Both groups rode very well; there were no complaints and heaps of resilience. The students really gave it their best shot and developed their confidence, strength and skills.

It is always a pleasure to take the students out when they really push hard and get involved and this was one of those occasions. I enjoyed taking some videos and photos and sharing their experiences.
