Exhausted after all that hard work. Note all the plants with their guards in the background. A job well done and in perfect time for some winter rain. Have a look at the garden next time you go past.

PLANTING PINK EYE POTATOES

On Friday afternoon the plants group in KGT (KEEN GREEN TEAM) had an extraordinary time planting pink eye potatoes.

Pink eye potatoes are from Tasmania and are certainly an amazing veggie. We worked in groups surrounding the veggie patch on the North side of the stadium, getting rid of all the weeds, planting the potatoes.

We had great fun and can't wait to eat them !
