VCE DRAMA

Man Up

VCE Drama students visited Mt Lilydale Mercy College on Monday 26 April, to see the VCAA playlisted performance of Man Up!

The play explored themes of masculinity and the impact these opinions have on society which will give students plenty of material to analyse as part of their upcoming SAC assessment.

VCE Workshop

While students are busy with the theoretical side of the course, they are also working towards their Ensemble Performance task.

We were lucky enough to have Alex Mayne, Jess Kann, Ruby Schroeder and Tash Dalton (past LHS Drama students) attend our full day workshop during the school holidays, to work closely with the students during the initial stages of performance development.

The theme for this year’s performance, is a line taken from a poem by William Blake, “When the doors of perception are cleansed, things will appear as they are.”
