Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Association

Chloe Thompson, Tom Starkey & Denzel Vaghani - Wider School Community Prefects, Ridgeway Campus

Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Association (OIGA), was established in 1920 – 5 years after the School opened its doors in 1915. The Association supports alumni (past students), sporting clubs and supporters of the School via their mission to Reach Connect and Support.

This is achieved in a number of ways:

  • organising reunions, to gather once we have left school
  • a significant online and social media presence, key platforms are the:
  • reaching and promoting Life Members in the Brown and White magazine
  • connecting alumni via mentoring opportunities
  • supporting alumni business via the Business Directory
  • supporting two Scholarships, which gives the opportunity for two students to attend Ivanhoe Grammar School
  • supporting Round Square, Cambodia and other School activities in all year levels.

Alumni can also be involved in the OIGA sporting clubs

  • Football
  • Soccer
  • Cricket
  • Water polo
  • Athletics via our association with Ivanhoe Harriers Athletic Club.
