GSA

Gender Sexuality Alliance

GSA stands for Gender Sexuality Alliance and is a club that runs every Friday lunch on the second week on the timetable by the wider School community prefects; Denzel, Tom and Chloe.

This is held at Ridgeway Campus in the library reading room. The group is an invitation to all; those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, teachers, friends, allies, and anyone interested in discussions around gender are welcome.

It is a great place to express opinions in a safe and open space. Those who attend are welcome to listen if they don’t want to participate in the discussions and snacks are always served. In our past discussions we have spoken about the idea on including pronouns in the school roll, and what the School is currently doing well and what the School can improve on regarding LGBTQIA+ inclusion.

Coming up we have a presentation on Lesbian Visibility Day. We encourage everyone to get behind this important initiative and bring along your ideas in a safe discussion-based area.
