2025 Footy Tipping Competition

Round 14 contained one upset and a few games that could have gone either way.  As it turned out we had two people who got 7/7 with a further 41 people picking 6/7. Of those that picked 7/7, Cole N (Year 8) who also won in Round 12, was closest to the margin (59 points) in the Western Bulldogs big win over St Kilda and as such is this week’s winner of the $50.  Congratulations again Cole!!

With regard to the overall leaderboard, things remain very tight at the top with Ciaran M (Year 8) and Natasha Watts on 88 with a further four people on 87.

Round 15

Round 15 commences Thursday night, so get your tips in.  This is the first week that, thanks to our sponsors DRD4x4, the weekly prize will go up to $100!!

Fremantle v Essendon – 8th v 12th

Fremantle made hard work of beating North Melbourne, but Essendon has so many injuries it’s hard to see them being competitive;

Geelong v Brisbane – 2nd v 3rd

Brisbane hasn’t won down in Geelong for over twenty years.  Geelong is in pretty good form right now; Brisbane is struggling a bit;

Carlton v North Melbourne – 10th v 16th

These sides haven’t met at the MCG since 2004. I actually think North is a real chance in this one;

Port Adelaide v Sydney – 11th v 13th

The last time Sydney beat Port Adelaide in Adelaide was 2015.  The Swans could be getting a few players back after their bye but will start as definite underdogs;

Collingwood v St Kilda – 1st v 14th

Can’t see anyone tipping St Kilda;

GWS v GCS – 7th v 6th

A big game for both sides.  GWS coming off an upset win over Brisbane and Gold Coast coming off the bye; and

Western Bulldogs v Richmond 9th v 17th

Richmond last beat the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium in 2013 and it’s hard to see anything other than a Bulldogs win here.
