Year 10 Outdoor Education

Mountain Biking Expedition
The Year 10 Outdoor Education classes travelled to the Dwellingup area in Week 7 to undertake their Mountain Biking expedition. The focus of this expedition was to continue developing and refining their mountain biking and camping skills.
The group rode from town along the Munda Biddi to their Baden-Powell Campsite.
On Day 2, the group continued their ride amongst the trails in town and tested their skills on the pump track.
Well done to the students for their resilience with the difficult weather conditions and for taking every challenge with smiles on their faces!
Thank you to Mr Newman, Mr Donaldson, Mr Connolly-Brown and Matthew Schultz (’21) for assisting with the smooth running of the expedition.
What the students said:
- “I enjoyed the bike trails – they were beautiful!”
- “The weather made things tough, but we did it!”
- “The downhills were awesome!
- “The night hike was a lot of fun and a different perspective of nature.”
