Exploring AI technologies

Students in year 10 Digital Solutions spent the term exploring new technologies with AI Bots from NousMatata Studios. They experimented, designed, developed and tested solutions to problems using the Voice, Colour and Image Recognition features of the AI bots. Students had to work in a team, collaborative, problem-solve and using Critical Thinking and Imagination – these skills are more relevant than ever when working with AI technologies.

Briefly, Matata Studio and hardware enables students to experience a variety of artificial ntellience technologies and functions, including machine learning, image recognition, ChatGPT, AIG C, and Autonomous driving capabilities.

Next year we hope to embed the following 4 steps of Machine Learning into the Year 10 Curriculum: Model Creations, data acquisition, model deployment and programming.
