Lifeline Bookfest This December

Lifeline Queensland has shared details of their upcoming Lifeline Bookfest, which will return to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13–17 December.

This year’s event will look a little different, with Bookfest taking place earlier than usual due to venue renovations. The five-day event offers a wonderful opportunity for families to stock up on summer reading, find unique Christmas gifts and enjoy a free, family-friendly activity during the school holidays.

Bookfest is Lifeline’s most significant fundraising event, helping to support their vital Crisis Support Services. Our school community is encouraged to attend and support this iconic event if they are able.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Whether you’re trying rugby for the very first time, wanting to build on your foundational skills, or already an experienced player looking to refine your technique this program is for YOU!

Duration: 7 weeks (18 October – 29 November 2025)

Sessions: Saturdays, 8:45 am arrival for 9:00am–10:30 am

Location: Dorrington Park, Ashgrove

Cost: Free (yes, FREE!)

Attendance: Flexible-come for 1, 3, or all 7 sessions

Gear needed: Just runners (no rugby boots allowed), mouthguard (compulsory) and water bottle

No experience needed - all welcome!
