Outdoor education

Year 10 - rock climbing

Our year 10 outdoor education classes culminated their learning about ropework, knots, climbing equipment and technique on excursion at the Onkaparinga Gorge Rock climbing area. 

Students supported each other by encouraging and demonstrating trust in their abilities. 

Rock climbing and abseiling provided the opportunity for students to overcome their own fears, accept and overcome challenges in the natural environment. 

The days of the cliff were a highlight for our outdoor education classes.
