Cross country

On Thursday 5 June, a small group of Aberfoyle Park High School students attended the School Sport SA Cross Country Championships at Oakbank Racecourse.

We were proudly represented by Aden H, Martina H, Campbell S, Jensen T, Nikhil T and Ariki W, who ran between 3km and 5km.

A noteworthy performance at the statewide event came from Martina H who crossed the line in 22nd place in the 13-year girls 3km in a field of over 150 students.

All runners gave it their best in the cool and dry conditions. The team spirit was on display, as runners encouraged fellow students after finishing themselves.
