Getting close but much to do!

We are reaching the exciting, yet chaotic, part of Term Four where Christmas advertisements have started on the TV and carols can be heard in shopping centres - but there is still important learning happening in classrooms, exams to be completed and 2025 achievements to be acknowledged and celebrated. With less than three weeks of school left, we have a lot to do.

All Year 10 and 11 students will return to school, and their regular classes, following their recent examinations on Monday, 24 November.

Upcoming events

We also have some exciting school events taking place in Week 8 and 9 of term, including the Year 7 to 10 Festival of Learning and the Transition to Year 12 Week. The curriculum to conclude the school year has been reimagined and it will be fun and exciting.

On the evening of 1 December, we are excited

to host our 2025 Lessons and Carols Service starting at 6.30pm at St George’s Cathedral and look forward to seeing the school community gather for the festivities.

On Monday, 8 December we will acknowledge the academic achievements of our students at the Semester Two Academic Awards Assemblies at St George’s Cathedral; the Year 7 and 8 Assembly will take place in Period 3 and 4 (11.15 – 12.30pm) and the Year 9, 10 and 11 Assembly will be in Period 5 and 6 (1.45 – 3.15pm). These events will be livestreamed and there will be some seating available to parents who wish to attend in person.

After lunch on Tuesday 9, December, we will celebrate the achievements of our Year 7 and 8 students in 2025 at their Presentation Afternoon. Parents are welcome to join us at the Cathedral for this event, with some seating available on a first come basis.

On the evening of Wednesday 10 December, we will celebrate our 2025 Year 9, 10 and 11 Presentation Night, also at the Cathedral starting at 6.00pm. This is a compulsory event for all students in Year 9 – 11. Some seating will be available for families who wish to attend until the Cathedral is at capacity and then it will be standing room only. Therefore, RSVPs are not required.
