Eva (pictured above) has been accepted into WAAPA’s amazing new campus at ECU City, after successfully auditioning to study a Diploma of Music (Music Artist).
Eva is a talented musician who joined St George’s this year and has participated in many of the school’s musical events. Eva will now get the opportunity to grow her talent as a singer, songwriter and guitarist.
Her family have offered thanks to Mrs Lynette Taylor, Miss Candice Susnjar (guitar teacher) and Mr Euan MacMillan (singing teacher) for all their support.


Alex recently won silver in the Year 10 National History Challenge at the Western Australian state awards ceremony. His achievement is an outstanding recognition of his research, writing and historical thinking skills - particularly impressive given he was competing against more than 50 Year 10 students from across the state.
This year’s National History Challenge theme, Conflict and Resolution, invited students to explore how societies confront and overcome division. Alex’s essay, titled Differing Historiographies on the Atomic Resolution of WWII, examined the contrasting interpretations surrounding the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Caitin recently volunteered at the Perth Running Festival. Great community spirit, Caitlin!




Matthew completed the Cape to Cape walk as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Trek challenge. The track extends over 123km of coastal scenery, sheltered forests and pristine beaches, finishing in Augusta. Matthew carried a 17kg pack to be self-sufficient (food, clothes, tent, cooking equipment water purification tablets etc) for the seven-day, six-night trek. Way to go, Matthew.








Elena has been selected for the Gold Fields Future Program – Women in STEM, a prestigious initiative designed to support and empower women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As part of the program, Elena will attend the Future Program Presentation Ceremony on 10 February at the Gold Fields Perth Office. This achievement reflects Elena’s dedication and serves as an inspiration to her peers. We look forward to seeing the impact she will make in STEM.


Blake has embraced an incredible academic opportunity - attending Oxford University’s prestigious Oxford Royale program. Living in the historic Oxford dormitories, Blake excelled — topping his class and earning a Certificate of Academic Achievement.
Blake’s journey doesn’t stop there. In 2026, he will begin studies at the University of WA, reading Frontier Physics as part of a Bachelor of Philosophy. His aspirations? To return to Oxford and pursue a PhD, continuing his passion for pushing the boundaries of science.


Harshika has been honoured with the Academic Excellence in Chinese Award by the Chinese Language Teachers Association of WA (CLTAWA). The award ceremony, held at UWA, recognised students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in Chinese language learning.
Harshika has been studying Chinese for just 18 months and consistently achieved near-perfect results in all assessments. Her teachers, Ms de Witt and Ms Sykiotis, praised her for her meticulous attention to detail, beautifully written characters, and outstanding pronunciation of initials, finals, and tones. Beyond language skills, Harshika shows great enthusiasm for exploring all aspects of Chinese culture.


A talented state-level gymnast, Isabelle recently delivered an outstanding performance – achieving a personal best and winning her category for the floor — a fantastic accomplishment that reflects her dedication and skill.
