Yearly Revision + Describing People

In Week 1, we watched a wonderful video podcast segment from SBS’s Our Deaf Ways, where we watched to DeafBlind people interact over Zoom. Each class discussed the below questions and worked out how the two men were communicating through a group discussion. The teacher led the yarn, but ultimately each class worked out the answers for themselves. Below is 4E’s answers: 

Students then completed a yearly review Kahoot, where the teacher collects their data for assessments later in the year. 

In week 2 students will learn how to describe people with the following adjectives: Boy, child, friend, girl, lady, man, person, old, young, bald, beard, blonde, curly hair, hair bun, long hair, moustache, plait, short hair.
