Alumni News

This year has been filled with exciting opportunities for students to connect with alumni and industry professionals through a range of inspiring events and sessions.

Our alumni continue to play an important role in supporting current students by sharing their study pathways, career journeys, challenges and achievements and supporting events at our school. Through these conversations, students gain valuable insight into the many different pathways available after school and the skills needed for future success.

In term 3 we were lucky to have Alumni - Clare Burton- Class of 1999- the General Manager Sport, Swimming Victoria President, Athletics Victoria, Maggie Ung- Class of 2020- a Digital Marketing Assistant- Smiggle, Sophie Kirkland- Class of 2023 a Cast member Walt Disney - Cultural Exchange (Events)and Andrew Purcell- Class of 1998- the Managing Director at Codecom, speak to our Year 12 Assembly about their career pathways. 

Then Alumni Amy Mcauliffe nee’ Pickersgill Class of 2016, spoke with our Year 8 and 9 Nursing elective class as well as students interested in pursuing Nursing about her career as a Registered nurse at Northern Health.

In addition to these events, we had Alumni contribute to our amazing Multiculture week celebrations including Family night.

Alumni Tala IE Clarete and Honey Ruelo Class of 2025 came back to speak at Multicultural Assembly about the role they played in sharing their culture while they were at school.

 Eve Paesler Class of 2022 and Kano Ravalji contributed to our Family Night event and Class of 2017, Cohan Ralston Class of 2024 took photos/footage at our special family night event. Abby Gray Class of 2019 also contributed significantly to the success of the event with her work on the night and the design and promotion.

Finally, Alumni Sana Abidi Class of 2019, who is a Mechatronics Engineer at Toyota, spoke Careers Teacher network meeting where our careers leader attended.

We are so proud and grateful for all our alumni who give their time to be a part of our wonderful school and alumni community!
