Student Voice & 

Positive Environment 

Throughout this term, our continued focus on Student Voice and Agency has strengthened opportunities for students to actively participate in their learning and contribute to the broader school community. Students have been encouraged to share their perspectives, reflect on their learning goals, and engage in meaningful decision-making processes.

The student Attitude to School results have given Year Level Leaders the opportunity to reflect on the data, take on board the student perspective of all areas of the college, and discuss meaningful actions to drive improvement.

The third cycle of PIVOT cycles has been completed recently.  This has provided another opportunity for students to provide feedback to their teachers of their teaching and learning practices, for the teacher to then look at the results with their students and take meaningful actions to improve the learning experience in classrooms.

Our SRC has continued to meet regularly, and recently had the opportunity to participate in the second Joanne Ryan forum with other secondary schools in the area. It was a great opportunity to discuss leadership, collaborate with other student representatives, and provide feedback to Joanne Ryan on the issues that are affecting young people today and within the wider community. It was a fantastic opportunity to work with other young leaders, build connections, and also their confidence in addressing areas they are passionate about.
