Community Announcements

Foster Carers needed:

Dear Community of Taylors Lakes Secondary College,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Les Twentyman Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting young people in our community.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Homework Club, “Study Squad Homework Club” aimed at providing academic support and mentorship to students in need.

As we prepare for the launch of this initiative, we are seeking dedicated volunteers who are passionate about education and making a positive impact in the lives of young people.

We believe that by working together, we can create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.

Volunteer roles within the Homework Club may include:

  • Assisting students with their homework assignments
  • Providing guidance and mentorship
  • Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Collaborating with other volunteers and staff members

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and experiences to join us in this rewarding opportunity. Whether you are a retired educator, a university student looking to gain experience, or simply someone who wants to give back to the community, your contribution can make a meaningful difference.

The Homework Club is scheduled to launch on Wednesday 5th of June, and we are actively recruiting volunteers to join our team.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for more information.

I have attached a flyer to this email for your convenience.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young people and empower them to succeed academically and beyond.

Thank you for considering this opportunity, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Warm regards,

Brimbank Men's Health Week 11th-16th June
