Interhouse Cross Country

Congratulations to all students who participated in the Interhouse Cross Country Carnival in Week 2. We are very lucky to host our Cross Country in the beautiful Kings Park area, only 2km from our school campuses. It was the first time we had our four incredible new House Marquees at Cross Country, which certainly added to the House Spirit and camaraderie for the day. Thank you to all students for your enthusiasm and dedication to your Houses. As always the energy of the students is what makes these days so special. We even saw Mandela Captain Benji Yan moonwalk across the finish line in first place for the Open Boys category! As always, thanks to the incredible PE team for your hard work in running what was an incredible day. Results will be announced next week during Chapel. Good luck to all Houses!

ACC Cross Country

Congratulations to all athletes who were selected in the ACC Cross Country team. This is a massive achievement, so well done on your continued dedication to the sporting opportunities available at St George’s. The ACC Cross Country Carnival will be held on Thursday, 28 May. This prestigious event sees over 400 students from 91 ACC schools compete, making it a truly remarkable spectacle. We also look forward to seeing our new ACC singlets make their debut on the course. We extend our sincere thanks to the Friends of St George’s for their generous support in funding these singlets. Go Dragons!

ACC Senior  Netball

This year, we took two teams to the Senior ACC Netball Carnival at the Gold Netball Centre. This was an excellent day and a great opportunity for some of our senior Physical Education Studies students to practice their gameplay in a professional and competitive environment. All students represented the school brilliantly and we are excited to see continued growth and involvement in this day. Thank you to all students involved for your time and energy in building our netball presence with ACC. Additionally, thank you to Miss Raynor for sharing her expertise with the students for the day!
