Camp ADANAC
Nicole Pratt - Head of Year 7

On Monday 16 February 7A-D headed off to Camp Adanac for 3 days in Yarra Junction. Forms 7E-H joined us at camp on Wednesday 18 February for the remainder of the week.
Camp ADANAC gave the students plenty of opportunities to make new friends and develop stronger relationships with their peers. Many of the activities required them to work in groups to problem solve or relied on the support of their peers to make sure activities ran smoothly and all students felt supported and included. Some of the favourites for 2026 were, the Flying Fox, Stand Up Paddleboards, Water Action Tower and Waterslide.
The Trivia Night was a clear winner with both staff and students, with lots of dance moves and singing voices being shown off during the Music Round. It was fantastic to see strong connections forming between students and their Mentor teachers throughout the camp.
The Year 7 students were delighted to have our Peer Support leaders join the camps on Tuesday and Thursday. This gave the Year 7s a chance to get to know their Peer Support leaders better and led to some great connections being formed for the year ahead.
We would like to thank all Mentor teachers and staff who attended Camp ADANAC; their hard work meant that all students could have an opportunity to make new friends and try something different.
