At our recent Investiture Assembly, we formally recognised students from Years 7 to 12 who were awarded badges across a range of leadership roles, including Prefects, Year Level Leaders, House Captains and members of the SRC. We extend our appreciation to all students who put themselves forward in service of the Norwood community. As we acknowledge their achievements, we look forward to the meaningful contributions they will make to the College throughout 2026.
At the Assembly, we enjoyed a wonderful performance of the 'Chips are Down' from Hadestown, performed by Aoife, Lexi and Audrey, accompanied by Isaac on keyboard and vocals. The students deserved the resounding applause that followed their performance. Congratulations.
Our Year 7 students enjoyed 3 fun-filled days at Camp Adanac in Yarra Junction, where they developed friendship connections and got to know their teachers better. The warm weather ensured that the water activities remained the most popular. I enjoyed visiting the students for the day on Wednesday. I am always reminded of the commitment and dedication of our Year 7 staff team, capably led by Nicole Pratt, who go above and beyond to ensure a positive camp experience for our newest students.
Please note that the Annual General Meeting that was due to take place on Tuesday March 24, as per, the last published newsletter, has been rescheduled to Tuesday March 31 at 6.30pm.
