Conference and GPA Reports

Conferences - Thursday March 26
Parent Student Teacher Conferences will take place from 10am – 6pm, Thursday March 26. We are pleased to continue the hybrid model where parents/carers have the option to meet their child's teachers onsite/in person or virtually using the Microsoft Teams platform. There will be no classes running on the day.
The Conferences provide a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and discuss their progress to date. We strongly encourage students to attend with their parents/carers, as we believe there is great value in them being a part of the conversation.
Bookings can be made for Year 12 and Year 7 students from 9am, Monday March 16.
Bookings can be made for all other years from 9am, Wednesday March 18.
Booking will close for all students at 4pm, Tuesday March 24.
The booking process will remain the same as previous years using Compass.
Please indicate you would like the Conference booking to be conducted virtually by selecting “Online”. The Conference booking duration will be 10 minutes. The 10 minutes will allow you to have a 6-7min conversation about your child’s learning and then prepare for the next Conference. If you are unable to make a booking with a teacher, you are welcome to email the teacher via Compass to request feedback on your child’s progress. The teacher will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
Please note there will be some teachers that have alternative times due to their day off falling on a Thursday, these will be completed online only:

GPA Reports
Students will receive their latest GPA reports next week. These reports serve as a valuable snapshot of academic progress, offering insight into their strengths as well as areas for improvement.
We encourage families to take this opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with their child about their current performance and study habits. With further assessments fast approaching, now is the perfect time for students to set realistic and achievable goals that will help them finish the term on a strong note.
Some key ways families can support students during this period include:
Reviewing the GPA report together – Celebrate achievements and identify areas that may need further focus.
Setting specific, actionable goals – Encourage students to outline steps they can take to improve or maintain their performance.
Planning study schedules – Balance the preparation for assessments with a continued focus on well-being to ensure that progress is sustained.
Seeking additional support if needed – Whether it’s guidance from teachers or using school resources, seeking proactive help can make a difference.
As we enter this busy phase of the term, fostering a positive mindset and resilience will ensure that our students are approaching their studies with much more confidence.
